Galen Hurts will not play on Saturday night. The starting midfielder is among the Eagles’ inactive players in the match against the Cowboys.

Gardner Minciu will start for the second time this season.

Hurts sprained his ankle in Week 12 against the Giants and missed one game. In the ensuing four weeks, he performed six limited practices, including two this week, and six full practices.

He didn’t have an injury rating this week, but with the Eagles already clinching a playoff, Hurts will have a week off to rest his ankle.

The other inactivity of the Eagles are Darius Sly, corner back Stephen Nelson, running back Miles Sanders (hand), safety Anthony Harris, right tackle Lynne Johnson (knee), offensive line forward Landon Dickerson (thumb), defensive end Josh Sweet, defensive end Derek Barnett and defensive intervention Javon Hargrave.

Dak Prescott will start for the Cowboys, but Cooper Rush is expected to rest him at some point tonight.

The letdown of the Cowboys are Travon Diggs (illness), behind Tony Pollard (foot), receiver Simi Fioko, nose handler Quinton Bohana and Will Greer.
