Dentsu Asia Pacific has appointed Prakash Kamdar as CEO of dentsu Indonesia, in addition to his current role as CEO, dentsu Singapore. The leadership team is further strengthened by the promotion of Wisnu Satya Putra to CEO of Creative of dentsu Indonesia and Arshad Rahman to CEO of CXM dentsu Indonesia, both of whom join the executive team.

The appointment comes as Maya Watuno, CEO of Dentsu Indonesia, is leaving work at the end of January to take up a role in a newly created holding company for Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises, with a focus on developing and promoting Indonesia’s culture, tourism and aviation assets. She will continue her role as a stakeholder in the business and will continue to advocate for its momentum and success.

According to the agency, these appointments are pivotal to dentsu Asia Pacific’s strategy to lead Indonesia into its next phase of growth. Kamdar will commence his new position on February 1, 2022. The appointments of Wisnu and Arshad are effective immediately.
