“There is an exciting agility that ZenBusiness has compared to more corporate environments,” Fanuelli said. “If we’re going to serve entrepreneurs, we need to counter this hustle with our hustle.”

Fanuele has over 20 years of experience in marketing. He was a longtime CEO of the agency, was part of creative campaigns such as Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man in the World”, and worked with clients including Arby’s, Cadillac, Charles Schwab, Unilever, The Cosmopolitan, The Economist and Volvo. He became Creative Director at General Mills in 2014, where he was part of the marketing agency’s review process. He left in 2017 and started his own consulting firm, Talk Like Music, which led to him joining Stagwell’s Media Assembly + Gale as president in 2019.

“I don’t think I would bring the playbook for lessons from corporate America,” Fanoli said. “I think we have a lot to learn from these entrepreneurs. Over the past 15 years, ad agencies have instructed their clients with the power of purpose. I think for entrepreneurs this comes very naturally.”
