ENG Awarded Fuel Handling Contract from Defense Logistics Agency

HOUSTON, TX/ACCESSWIRE/6 Jan 2022/ENG (NASDAQ: ENG), Defense Logistics Services (DLA), a leading provider of innovative project delivery solutions to the energy industry, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Government Services, Inc (EGS), has been awarded a $4.4 million contract extension by the Logistics Agency. Defense (DLA), a sub-layer of the Department of Defense, to provide Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE) support at an undisclosed DLA facility.

The contract extension consists of eleven monthly release orders valued at approximately $400,000 each. To date, the DLA has issued release warrants through April 2022 with a current total of approximately $1.6 million.

EGS is one of three major contractors operating regularly under the DLA’s AFHE Temporary Support Scheme. EGS’s work on these missions typically includes technical upgrades and updates to existing AFHE systems at the many US military bases located around the world.

ENG has provided diverse refueling system solutions to the U.S. military for the past 17 years, serving at more than 150 locations, and continues to expand our services to meet the needs of our federal, state and local clients.
