NEWCASTLE-based digital marketing agency doubled in size within a year.

MIRA Marketing was founded in 2018 and teamed up with Northeast Entrepreneur and Investor Neil Stephenson in 2020. The growth was steady until the Covid pandemic that drove millions of online shoppers.

Founder and CEO Stuart Bramley explained: “Insurance has been the driver of tremendous growth for us, but we have continued on the same path after the relaxation of restrictions.

“Online retailers have seized the opportunity of a lot of people shopping online and local and regional businesses have turned to us to grow their business with personalized digital marketing solutions. The last weekend of Black Friday sales has been important to us – it has been very successful for ourselves and our customers, who have witnessed so much Incredible increases in revenue.

“Since August last year, our sales have doubled, our profits have doubled and the team has grown from two of us to six. We’ve gone from five clients to 29 — and there’s more in the pipeline.”

Stewart and his team work hard to keep up with the trends and developments in the online marketing sector.

“We recently moved some of our customers to Amazon and it’s new to us. Customers are seeing good growth through our partnership with them. Apple released iOS14.5 earlier this year and the update impacted tracking across platforms and devices. We’ve routed our media purchase to Souq Amazon to help stabilize customer performance. This has been working very well for our customers, as they have added new revenue streams, Stewart explained.

“The digital marketing landscape is constantly changing and we are making sure we are well aware of what is happening – updates to new platforms, new software, new processes or operating systems. It is important that we continue to monitor potential legislation around how website owners use cookies – it may be This is a game changer in digital marketing, and we’re obviously already looking at other ways to report data.

“Meanwhile, the email marketing aspect of MIRA is growing exponentially – some of our customers attribute more than 25 percent of their revenue to our email campaigns.”

To accommodate the growing team, MIRA has moved to larger offices in Hoults Yard.

“We just need space for our new team members – our work and approach are loved and respected by our growing client list. We create custom campaigns for them, constantly monitor campaigns, and modify and scale them in response to the data we analyze. We offer a highly personalized service, not a turnkey solution, and we get to know our clients well. And we integrate into their team as an external marketing arm.”

“We also offer Shopify web development services, in part because it’s so critical that a company’s website and landing page are right in order to convert our customers’ customers.”

While he oversees the rapid expansion of MIRA, Stewart is also launching a new, complementary company. Snap-Now is his new e-commerce photography company, which will provide customers with first-class photography and videography for their websites and social media platforms.

“It’s a natural addition to what we already do and another service we can provide to our customers. I think the content creation aspect of things is going to become increasingly important to us and the industry as a whole,” Stewart said.

Stewart, a former semi-professional soccer player, completed a soccer scholarship and a Business Administration degree at Lyon College in America.

After launching MIRA Marketing in 2018, childhood friend Stewart was joined by Adam Hunter, who is the company’s director of digital marketing.

Customers include Scalextric and Hornby’s hobbies, top sports brands and online retailers.
