Manchester brand-led design and digital agency, BGN, says it is on track to generate £1m in revenue by the end of the next financial year.

BGN was founded in 2017.

In 2020, BGN’s turnover was £415,000 with a net profit of 11%. This grew to £581,000 and net profit of 23% in 2021, and this year’s turnover is set to be £800,000 and 25% net profit, leading to expectations of revenue of up to £1m, with net profit approaching 30%, by the end of the 2022/23 fiscal year.

Since the beginning of 2021, the agency — set up by co-founders Paul Bailey, Antonio Giansante and David Newton — has nearly doubled its number of employees to 10 and plans to hire four more people over the coming months.

The new hires were across the design, development, movement and account management teams.

In addition to its existing client roster, which includes the likes of Carlsberg, Onken, P&G and Rustlers, BGN has also won a string of notable new clients including North Highland, Fasthosts, Gnatta, Loal and Slumberdown.

The company also recently moved to One Express in Ancoats after having been based in Neo for the past three years.

This move was in preparation for its next phase of growth and provided enough room for a planned team expansion and provided the option of additional flexible work capabilities if needed.

“Like many other companies, COVID has been a shock, but rather than walking away from our team, stand up and see it as an opportunity to deliver real value to our customers,” said Managing Director, Antonio Giansante.
