Job title

We are looking for an ambitious and eager PR Account Manager to join our communications agency, with an opportunity to work on global and local accounts. Should be able to manage clients with a degree of independence, have strong media relationships and have a good knowledge and understanding of the media and influencer landscape.

The ideal candidate is creative, can take the lead and be an all-around resourceful who will take full ownership of his work, and deliver the work at the highest level.

  • He independently handles many small accounts, and performs a lot of day-to-day work.
  • It is the primary contact of the customer on a daily basis and earns him the respect, trust and confidence of the customer.
  • Develops, manages and executes PR plans, projects, campaigns and events with ease and success.
  • Coordinates and supervises employees and external suppliers who provide services.

Media Relations

  • He has a thorough knowledge of the media and the influencer landscape. Understands how the media works and knows how to deal appropriately with journalists and influencers.
  • Builds and maintains good working relationships with journalists.
  • Keeps abreast of digital/social/web media trends and can identify opportunities for clients.
  • Identifies media trends and topics and is able to take advantage of them for the client’s benefit.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key digital media influencers; As well as celebrities where possible.
  • Prepares own media listings or reviews those drafted by AE or AA.

Content creation:

  • Creates or manages the creation process (via clear, chronological written summaries, including key messages, deadlines, audience, and supporting information) for copy, innovative texts, press releases, articles, etc.
  • Proactive in providing creative ideas and angles for online articles/press releases/content.

Planning and Reporting:

  • Formulate and manage important schedules as part of communications plans.
  • Capable of accurately briefing service providers and managing important schedules.
  • Manages the compilation of feedback reports before they are sent to AD for signature.
  • Develops accurate project budgets and effectively monitors them.
  • Provides daily reports to AD regarding account status, administrative issues and any problem areas.
