New YorkAnd January 5 2022 /PRNewswire/- James Karklins7 Knots Digital, President and Founder, announces the appointment of the former Vice President of Business Intelligence and Data Science, Farm Journal Media, as Head of Product and Analytics for 7 Knots Digital, effectively January 3, 2022. As Head of Product and Analytics, Hecht will oversee all analytics for the company’s clients across leading media publishers, membership organizations, event organizers, and nonprofits. Over the past 12 years, Hecht has held several senior leadership positions with data-driven media and technology companies, and is an executive board member of the Media, Audience, and Content Marketing Association (MACMA).

Hecht will develop and expand 7 Knots Digital’s products and continue its rapid growth in B2B media publishing, information and event space. Will report to Hecht James Karklins, formerly President of Observer Media, and held various senior leadership positions for more than 15 years with well-known companies around the world, including Gartner, Newsweek and Arizent (formerly SourceMedia).

During his tenure as Vice President of Business Intelligence and Data Science at Farm Journal Media, Hecht was responsible for overseeing all audiences and technology powered by more than 50 million monthly first-party data points. He coordinated the creation of an enterprise master data management solution. Hecht collaborates with teams to create a single, managed version of shared truth across all critical business applications.

He most recently served as Head of Intelligence at Rooster, a strategic marketing firm in Illinois. Hecht was also Head of Business Development at Technekes, where he led demand generation programs that demonstrated up to 20 times sales return on investment by introducing new technologies in data science.
